Tinkerbell

We added someone to our little family on December 27, 2006. Her name is Tinkerbell. She is a honey-colored tabby. There is a lot of spunk packed into such a small feline. She is now in March about 23 weeks (almost 6 months) old.

This little kitten loves to play with her catnip toys and be the "monster under the bed", attacking our feet as we walk around the bedroom.

She also loves to be the center of your attention, especially when you are trying to do something else. Her favorite thing to do at night when we are settling down to bed, is to lay on our chests right in front of the book we are trying to read.

Travis loves playing the role of "daddy" to our little baby. When we walk in the door from work in the evenings, he will pick her up, give her kisses and then proceed to carry her around the house until she demands to be let down to play.

She is such a little treat to have around, always doing something to make us laugh. When I was sick this last week, though she didn't much feeli like cuddling with me (which is what I really wanted) she would periodically come up and sit on my chest while I was lying on the couch, and give me little kisses on the nose. Then she would jump down and go about her playing.

She is obsessed with little bugs. Whenever she finds one, she will bat it around with her paw for a minute, and then it becomes a snack.

She also loves to look outside, but is a bit timid when it comes to embracing the outdoors, which is a good thing, since we live on the thrid floor of a condominium building. She will spend a good portion of the day sitting in front of our balcony window, just staring outside if "mom" remembers to open the curtains in the morning, that is.

She is a sweet, funny, lspunky, hysterical kitten. We love her and much enjoy having her around. We're pretty sure she likes us too.
